Training in Philadelphia, PA today

This weekend we are in Glen Mills, PA, just outside of Philadelphia. 

We have about 450 attendees from 21 different states including one couple from Seattle, Washington.  Traveling 2,800 miles I think they win the award this weekend for furthest traveled.

We also have 20 students from Drexel University…we are always excited to see a strong student presence at our conferences.  May you return to campus encouraged to stand strong in your faith.

We want to thank Covenant Fellowship Church for their warm welcome to our team and all our visitors. The humidity is very different than we are used to in Colorado, but it is always a joy to meet with brothers and sisters around this great country.

We would ask you to pray for all those in attendance today.  That the Lord would begin a mighty work in the hearts and minds of these leaders.

For all you who have joined us here today, we want to welcome you to this adventure.  We pray that the Lord will equip and lead you as you take the Truth Project back to your churches and communities.

Houston, TX Training Today!

This weekend we are in Houston, TX with over 400 attendees from 16 different states including a couple leaders from Alaska...let me repeat that…we are in Houston Texas and we have a couple here from Wasilla, Alaska…by my calculations they win the “furthest traveled” award coming nearly 4,500 miles!  WOW!

We are thankful for First Presbyterian Church of Houston who has opened their beautiful facility to us.  We are in a unique, multifunctional room that serves as a gymnasium, auditorium for school productions, and Sunday morning church service.

Please pray that the Lord would move in the hearts and minds of those leaders here today and that the leaders would feel confident and equipped to lead a Truth Project small group in their home.

For all of you who are with us here in Houston with us, we are excited that you have chosen to join us on this amazing journey.  We hope and pray you are deeply blessed as you return home to your different communities and churches around this great state and the rest our the country.

Arlington Heights, Illinois Training Conference Today!

This weekend our team is in Arlington Heights, IL just outside of Chicago at Arlington Heights Evangelical Free Church.  We are excited to have about 650 attendees from 24 different states including Canada, England, Argentina, and Romania…WOW!  The Lord continues to amaze our team that He is calling people from all over the word to take The Truth Project back to their own communities.

Please pray that the Lord would move in the hearts and minds of those leaders here today.  Pray that the leaders would feel confident and equipped to lead a Truth Project small group in their home, and the Lord would work in mighty ways in each of the individual small groups.

Chicago Conference This Weekend

Our team is traveling to Chicago this weekend for a training conference at Arlington Heights Evangelical Free Church in Arlington Heights, IL.  We ask for your prayers as we travel and prayer for all those who will be joining us, that the Lord will do His work in their minds and hearts.

Training Conference today in Detroit, MI

This weekend we are in Troy, MI just north of Detroit.  We excited to have 940 attendees from 18 different states including several leaders from Canada.  This is our second regional training conference in 2008 since our Phoenix event in January.  We are thankful for Faith Lutheran Church who has opened their beautiful facility to us. 

Please pray that the Lord would move in the hearts and minds of those leaders here today. 

For all of you who are with us here in Troy with us, we are excited that you have chosen to join us on this amazing journey.  We hope and pray you are deeply blessed as you return home to your different communities and churches around the country.

Detroit and Phoenix

Just an update on our activities over the next couple of weeks.

Next Friday and Saturday, our team will be in Troy, Michigan hosting a regional training conference at Faith Lutheran Church.  If you have friends or family in the area that would like to join us, we would love to see them at the conference.

On Saturday, April 26 our team is hosting a local training at Sun Valley Community Church in Gilbert, Arizona, a suburb of Phoenix.  The conference runs from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. and will equip leaders to take The Truth Project into their homes to lead as a small group.

Wisconsin Training A Success

We want to thank each of you who attended our Local Training Conference this past weekend in Appleton, Wisconsin, what a pleasure to meet many of you and to hand off The Truth Project to a set of believers willing to make an impact in our world.  We look forward to seeing how the Lord blesses your small group by transforming minds and hearts in the "Badger State"!

For those of you who joined us, you're probably asking what to do next, right?  Here's what we suggest:

1. Watch the DVD set with family or close friends to prep for small group
2. Log-in to the Small Group Support Site (remember, your email is your user name and the password is connect)
3. Pray:  pray that God will bring at least 12 people to join your small group.

Champion Training Today!

Today is a big day for our ministry and our team.  We're thrilled to welcome over 160 churches and up to 350 pastors and lay leaders to our campus in order to equip them to host The Truth Project Simulcast Training September 27th.

Dr. Tackett, President Jim Daly and H.B. London will be presenting content related to worldview, as Bill Dallas and his team from Christian Communications Network train our host sites on how to run the satellite training.

Please join us in prayer that the Lord will bless our efforts as we seek to encourage these pastors and churches to champion truth in their respective communities.
