New Web Site Launched

Dear Truth Project Supporter,              Greetings from The Truth Project!              We want you to know that The Truth Project team has just launched a newly redesigned Small Group Support Site, made specifically with leaders and participants of The Truth Project in mind. This site will provide all the materials you already have access to, such as Lesson Guides, articles, message boards, etc., plus additional functionality to further enhance your small group experience.              The new SSGS site, MyTruthProject, went live just prior to this weekend's Simulcast (which broadcast to more than 30,000 people, and was a great success!). The site can be reached through a Log In link on the updated Truth Project website (shown, right). We are asking you to create a new registration and password using our login page to access the new site. Over the next couple of weeks, we will transition away from the old Small Group Support Site and the old TTP Discussion Forum.                       If you have a small group running, or if you plan to start one, you can enter your data into our new automated system, which will allow leaders to communicate schedules and announcements to members, and will give those members access to all the Small Group Support Site content. If you have not yet been through a Truth Project small group experience, we encourage you to use the searchable database to find a group near you! You can also direct friends to the MyTruthProject site, and they can search for groups without even having to register first!        The Truth Project Discussion Forum has changed, too. If you haven't seen it before, it offers not only a place where you can discuss the concepts presented in The Truth Project program, but also allows leaders to share ideas between themselves, and to encourage prospective leaders, help them know what they may face, and how to prepare! Members who have used the old Truth Project Forum need to know the new Forum is currently moderated, but messages should be posted within a reasonable amount of time so that discussions can continue freely (also remember that you will need to re-register on the new Forum — your old registration will not work, nor will your registration from the new SGSS, which is on a separate site). We encourage you to take a look at the new Forum, and begin adding to the conversation, even as we continue an ongoing process of transferring your favorite, informative discussion threads from the old Forum.              If you experience any problems (especially if it appears to be a bug in our new system), please tell us by calling 1-800-A-FAMILY, or clicking on the Contact link.              We appreciate your help with this new website, which should enable The Truth Project to grow and strengthen even more Christians with knowledge of the Truth of God's Word!              If you know others who might like to either join a new group, or begin teaching one, please forward this e-mail to them (using the link to the right) so they can use the searchable database!              Thank you, and God bless your efforts!           The Truth Project Team

Simulcast LIVE from Colorado Springs

We are excited about The Truth Project training conference occurring today at Focus on the Family. As I walked into the building this morning, I sensed the familiar buzz in the air as people made their way to their seats.  And, when the introductory video began to play initiating the start of the conference—all of you who have attended know exactly the moment I am talking about—I thought, “What an amazing thing it is, to partner with others with this tool, The Truth Project.” 

But today is different than any other training event that we’ve conducted over the past 28 months. 

Along with the training here at Focus on the Family, 328 other sites—scattered across the U.S., Canada, and the Caribbean—are also hosting The Truth Project training through the satellite signal that is emanating from Colorado Springs through our partnership with CCN (Church Communication Network).

In fact, across these 328 host sites there are approximately 30,000 people being trained to lead The Truth Project small groups today, right now.

Consider this: in one day we are training the same number of people that we have trained in the 28 months leading up to this day, to date over 30,000 facilitators.

Wow, hasn’t the Lord done an amazing thing?  Join us in giving thanks for the good work He is doing in our time.
