Thank you for all our "Truth Champions" who joined us on our conference call Wednesday afternoon.  It appears the Lord is blessing our efforts as over 240 churches are signed up to host the satellite training in September.

One of the great things that came out of the call was the idea to hold a "pre-event" in order to share the content of TTP with various pastors and leaders in our respective communities.  After speaking with Del and CCN, we've agreed to host "Pre-Conference Satellite Downlink" on June 19th with Dr. Del Tackett and The Truth Project Team.

"Expelled"

If you're looking for a great movie to see this week, check out Ben Stein's "Expelled", an expose on academia's approach to the evolutionary worldview. 

A few of us had an opportunity to view a pre-released Director's Cut a few months ago and I promise you, you will leave the theater with a new view on the vitriolic attack the academic world is foisting on God's design and His creation.

Training Conference today in Detroit, MI

This weekend we are in Troy, MI just north of Detroit.  We excited to have 940 attendees from 18 different states including several leaders from Canada.  This is our second regional training conference in 2008 since our Phoenix event in January.  We are thankful for Faith Lutheran Church who has opened their beautiful facility to us. 

Please pray that the Lord would move in the hearts and minds of those leaders here today. 

For all of you who are with us here in Troy with us, we are excited that you have chosen to join us on this amazing journey.  We hope and pray you are deeply blessed as you return home to your different communities and churches around the country. 

May you become a risk taker and world changer!

Detroit and Phoenix

Just an update on our activities over the next couple of weeks.

Next Friday and Saturday, our team will be in Troy, Michigan hosting a regional training conference at Faith Lutheran Church.  If you have friends or family in the area that would like to join us, we would love to see them at the conference.

On Saturday, April 26 our team is hosting a local training at Sun Valley Community Church in Gilbert, Arizona, a suburb of Phoenix.  The conference runs from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. and will equip leaders to take The Truth Project into their homes to lead as a small group.

Wisconsin Training A Success

We want to thank each of you who attended our Local Training Conference this past weekend in Appleton, Wisconsin, what a pleasure to meet many of you and to hand off The Truth Project to a set of believers willing to make an impact in our world.  We look forward to seeing how the Lord blesses your small group by transforming minds and hearts in the "Badger State"!

For those of you who joined us, you're probably asking what to do next, right?  Here's what we suggest:

1. Watch the DVD set with family or close friends to prep for small group
2. Log-in to the Small Group Support Site (remember, your email is your user name and the password is connect)
3. Pray:  pray that God will bring at least 12 people to join your small group.
